Your filter service will start with a thorough backwashing of your filter to remove as much dirt and debris as possible before disassembly. The tank clamp and then filter top will be removed, followed by the manifold and filter grids.

We'll inspect all internal parts by removing and cleaning them.
In most cases, we will also remove the filter tank bottom and clean it out also.

We remove and inspect the air relief valve, the pressure gauge, the tank o-ring, the tank clamp, the stand pipe o-ring, the manifold, the breather and all hardware,
in addition to the filter grids.

Included in your filter service is an inspection of your backwash valve operation.
We'll remove the piston and inspect the condition of the o-rings, piston, and cover. We will lubricate and reassemble the valve or contact you about needed replacement parts, if necessary.

Your filter will be carefully re-assembled to ensure proper function and safety.

Our final step is to recharge the filter with DE to prepare it for service.
The system will be tested to ensure it is functioning properly.
